The treatment area is the central part of the hospital. There is always a staff member in this area who is watching over any patients in the hospital. The central 'island' is used for prepping animals for surgery on one side and for dental cleanings and 'non-sterile' surgery on the other side. Pets who are hospitalized are kept in large cages in this room. Larger dogs are kept in runs in another part of the clinic.
